Blewburton Hall had suffered years of neglect, so when work started on site, large sections were condemned due to the nature or deterioration of the materials on site. A large kitchen extension was added to the rear of the property, and all of the existing rooms in the hall were sympathetically restored. The property was completely re-wired and re-pumped, whilst aiming to retain all of the original features. All external windows and doors were replaced, and the build re-roofed and re-rendered. We also hard landscaped the rear gardens, putting in place large retaining walls to manage the contrast in ground levels. Working hand in hand with the client and architect, the end result is a beautiful period property.
